Does anyone here besides me and Magus play elder scrolls games?

I was thinking about starting up an RP in the Elder Scrolls world (most likely in Vvardenfell or around the time period when Morrowind takes place), and I am curious as to how many of us would be interested. Magus and I were talking about our characters and I just got thinking about it.

The world mechanics and history are pretty thought out (especially in Morrowind), so we'd be focusing more on our characters and story within this well-established framework.

If not, that's ok- I have my trash fiction as an outlet and a possibly maybe potential RP with Magus in the future. c:

Also, I posted this in General Discussion so we could talk about the games themselves, not just the RP part. I've been diving back into Morrowind due to playing Skyrim WAAY too much, and I have just fallen in love with the lore all over again.

Daggerfell, Morrowind, (skipped oblivion after a 10 minute try), Skyrim, and periodically jump on ESO.

So yes I've played the Elder Scrolls games and would be interested in an RP based around them.

o-o I-I liked Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. Even played me some Daggerfall.

Your not alone, but it died off around the same time that everything else on the site died out again.

Well, unfortunately, I don't have the time to set something up right now. :c I was just kind of seeing what people thought more than actively trying to set something up. If yall have any ideas or want to just brainstorm, go ahead. c:

Ok well- here we go. I feel like this needs to be a little more structured than the usual RPs on this site, just because this is a very established world, and we should all be on the same page regarding place and time.

We could do the easy route and make it 'modern,' as in, our RP takes place during or after the events of Skyrim, which is the most recent time in the ES world. Of course, none of us can really be 'dragonborn' mostly because there's like only one and that's the point. We'd have to get the bad ass character thing elder scrolls likes to do and NOT do that, because that's not collaborative story making. I know yall already know this, I'm just thinking out loud.

We could do something a little more involved and set it in the 'past' in the ES timeline. That would require some degree of research between all parties, just because I would want this to be as canon as possible. Also, I really love the lore and wouldn't mind researching some stuff. But that's just me.

We could do the easy thing and set the RP in a location we all know and love . I am partial to Vvardenfell/Raven Rock, but I could do other places like Skyrim/Cyrodil. Or we can do something harder and set it in a place like High Rock or Elswyr, where there's not really a game set in that location directly.

What are yall thinking? And no 'anything is fine' allowed here! Have an opinion! It makes things easier all around when people are more decisive.

For setting it in the past Might I suggest around the time of ESO? That will give you a lot of existing lore to work with, gives us a prebuilt conflict (Ending Molag Bal's attempt to merge Tamriel and Nirn) as well as a lot of versatility in how we play our characters.

Yeah, that totally works for me. I've played a little of ESO but I go between disappointed with it, bored with it, and overwhelmed by it.

Hey the high elves in Morrowind weren't bad. Little seen but not bad.
Aside from the slavery thing but pretty much everyone was taking part in that.
