If this were an anime Zyta would have fallen with a big sweat drop. “You are a spunky one. We are almost upon the Forest of Death (you can see it there where the black seems to gather), stay alert. The last time I walked through here I was attacked by several demonic beings. They are scared of light, if you can do that then that would be great. If not, oh well, they learned to leave me alone the first time eventually."

At the mention of the Forest of Death, she looked ahead. "Aye, capyten!" though she felt herself almost stop when he mentioned light. Light magic...she hadn't used that in a while. No, she hadn't used it in a long...long...long time. "I might have something I can use if I have to." she mumbled something inaudible but she nodded her head. "So, if you've been here once, then it shouldn't be to much trouble."

“It is no trouble at all,” Zyta said with a smile for Renn. “But you mustn’t rely on me for everything; you’ll never grow or learn new things that way. It must come from firsthand experience. All I’m saying is to try and I’ll have your back if things get dangerous, and I’ll try to add some tips that may or not be useful. I’m not a magician, but I know enough about magic from my research that it might come in handy sometime.”

"I-I know! I just..." she didn't know how to finish her sentence. The smile he gave was reassuring but still. Her grip tighten on the staff and she felt herself stop in her tracks. "I don't want to use my magic unless I really have to." she mumbled, almost to herself. Renn didn't like using her magic at all. "Thanks, though. I guess it's good that I'm not alone..."

“Move, you’re going to cause a roadblock just standing there looking stupid,” said Zyta. To force her to move faster rather than slower his paced picked up so that he was nearly trotting down the beaten path. Always when he traveled down these kinds of paths he wondered why it was so well trodden if it was fraught with dangers unknown. Perhaps it was just the whimsical game of some god to trick poor travelers into a false sense of security.

Quickly, the girl caught up to Zyta, trying to match his pace. "Y'know, it's kind of funny because I haven't been away from Anime Online in...a very long time. So, this is all kind of new to me." She looked ahead, pondering on these thoughts. "Like, what is it like, out there? You must travel all the time."

This journey might be good for her.

“What is what like?” inquired Zyta. “You mean the world? I don’t think it is anything special. You see all kinds of terrain; mountains made out of ice, fields of lava but without the poisonous sulfur in the air, ocean with water that you can walk on and breathe if you go for a dip. There is ugliness in the world often times in the vicinity of beauty so that to get to the beauty you’d have to strive for it. Nothing comes easy in the world like it does back in Anime Online or even in Dreamers Haven, but with the right mind you can find anything.”

She pondered on his words but as she thought about it more, she didn't like. She had seen the world before and like Zyta had said, there was ugliness in the world. Renn was all too aware of that much but beauty? The healer wondered about the beauty that existed in this world. She just didn't know because of all the things she had seen had clouded her judgement.

    "Hmm...I suppose you're right."
