Just say what it was and give a very brief review. I will start.

    The Mechanic

It was a solid action flick. A re-make of an old Charles Bronson film, Statham delivers on what you probably have come to expect from his movies.

    The Lincoln Lawyer

Very good legal thriller. If you like John Grisham novels you should like this. A nice little surprise was Matthew McConaughey. He had a very good performance and Marissa Tomei was as good as ever.

I liked it. Felt like Saving Private Ryan meets Independence Day

    American Werewolf in London

Saw this as a recommendation from sf and finally got around to watching it (a few hours ago). Very solid movie. i thought that explicit (sex) scenes shown were overly drawn out though, nothing that would ruin the movie and near the end when David is talking with the undead in the porn theater, i actually laughed and thought that it was a classy move.

The werewolf scenes were well done in my opinion; they weren't drawn out, there wasn't a lot of senseless gore that we know today. Honestly, i couldn't help but laugh when i first saw the werewolf, it was looked funny. i give it an 8.8/10

Glad you liked it! Horror movies don't have a sense of humor anymore!

I just watched a documentary called Gonzo. It is about the life and death of Hunter Thompson. If you don't know who he is watch Fear and loathing in Las Vegas. The character Depp plays is Thompson using a cover name. He is one of the most important American journalists ever. For anyone who appreciates unique individuals with brass balls I can't recommend this doc high enough.

I watched Law Abiding Citizen on TV the other day. It was pretty cool.

I really wanna re-watch the Scream movies in the next couple of days before I go see Scream 4.

A documentary about the collapse of the economy. A+ for sure! Kinda pisses you off about everything...

The day the earth stood still (1951)

Obviously cheesy as hell, but least the acting was better than Keanu Reeves in the new version :)

Scream 4 (2011) about an hour ago.

It has all the same self aware camp as the original trilogy, this time poking fun at, what else? Horror Remakes.

It struggles at points throughout, falling a bit to deep into the clich`es its deconstructing, but still, it starts off strong and ends stronger with enough nods to it past incarnations to keep fans happy.

Not the scariest horror movie I have seen, but a fun slasher and a good genre deconstruction.

    Winter's Bone

A movie that i thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the attention to detail and the feel of realism. There isn't much action, so that may be a turn off for many, it does have its intense moments. 9/10

It is an animated film about a group of rabbits. It was made in the seventies and is surprisingly violent. The story moves along at a nice pace and I had a personal investment in the characters.

Harry potter and the deathly hollows part 1, watched it a few days ago anyway.

Being someone who thoroughly enjoyed the books when they first came out, and hated the film series as they lacked so much of the story, I actually thought the first part to the last film was quite good. Though it has bits that are outright stupid, just like the previous films, adding pointless bits in which just makes less room for the actual story...

    Thor

I was disappointed. Way too much melodrama. I went to see Thor not a soap opera. There were good moments and obviously the effects were solid. I just think there was not nearly enough focus on the action.

    Duel at Diablo

Solid older western movie that you would expect from the genre.

    Excalibur (1981)

A take on the old 'Morte d'Arthur', telling the story of Merlin, Arthur and the tragedies which incur. It's great, but definitely not a "U"-rated film...

I saw the original Last House on the Left. It is pretty freaking disturbing especially since it was shot in a documentary style. This was Wes Craven's introduction to Horror and he revolutionized it right there.

    Cannibal! The Musical

This was the first thing Trey Parker and Matt Stone made. (Yes before South Park.) It is pretty funny and you can see the framework for all of their success.

good korean movie. tad slow beginning, but explosive (not literally) second half that really pulls you in.
